Moataz has 8 years of experience in the successful delivery of impactful development programs. He has been managing Lebanon’s Winning with Women programme for the past 5 years, leading all aspects of this extensive program, including relationship building, content design, facilitating and leading trainings, mentoring, conducting research, and financial management.
Moataz has a multi-disciplinary background in the public and private sectors, as well as in international and local non-governmental organizations. He also has experience in education, gender equality, political empowerment, and LGBTQ+ rights.
Prior to joining GPG, he worked on research on women’s rights with several local and international organizations and worked as a lecturer in Accounting and Financial Math at Amjad Institution in Lebanon. He worked as a tourism inspector at the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism for 9 years, where he monitored, reported, and ensured ministerial compliance of tourism establishments applying for licensing. He was also part of many initiatives that aimed at developing the human resources management system in the Lebanese public sector, in coordination with the Federal Public Service Policy and Support (BOSA) in Brussels.
Moataz is a certified trainer, and he holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Lebanese International University. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
