Megan Roy

Operations Lead

Megan ensures the organisation runs smoothly, supporting how it grows and adapts. She coordinates core systems and processes and supports colleagues to deliver their work. She has implemented key organisational transitions, including the move from a physical office to a more flexible remote and co-working model and the introduction of an enhanced wellbeing offer.

She works across operations, programme delivery, and business development, having supported international funding proposals and contributed to the delivery and close-out of parliamentary strengthening programmes. Alongside this, she works on organisational communications and knowledge products, while tracking political, sectoral and funding trends to inform strategy and identify future opportunities.

Megan has a background in operations and public sector programmes, including work on major initiatives for the Department for Work and Pension and the NHS. Her interests include political leadership, gender, and how emerging technological and environmental challenges are shaping democratic futures. She holds an MA in Legal and Political Theory from UCL and a BA in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Sheffield, and remains committed to the role of education and ideas in shaping political change, having coached writers and editors and taught young people outside of mainstream education. She speaks Spanish at an intermediate level.
