Giorgio Jackson is a Chilean engineer, former Minister of Social Development and Family and Minister Secretary General of the Presidency under President Gabriel Boric. He was Boric’s campaign manager in the 2021 presidential election and previously served two terms as a congressman, founding Revolución Democrática and the Frente Amplio coalition. He first gained prominence as a student leader during the 2011 protests. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Sociology at the University of Barcelona and works as an independent public policy consultant.
